The meaning of Ramayana in Indian art
Scenes from the Ramayana, the epic of Lord Rama, Sita and Lakshmana, have been painted across India for centuries. They celebrate duty, devotion and the victory of good over evil, from Rama’s exile in the forest to his return to Ayodhya.
About oil paintings
Oil colours give deep, glowing colour and a rich texture that lasts for generations. Each work is painted by hand by our artists, so it carries real texture and depth that prints cannot match.
